not a meme, per se, but some necessary facts about me
i’ve read so many “8 random things about me” memes lately that i find myself with the need to jump in; well, halfway. Here are 4:
1. i have a (wholly illogical) fear of lawnmowers, especially the big commercial/landscaping kind. When i walk or run by them, i take an ridiculously exaggerated arc away from their possible trajectory. I think my fear steams from the fact that i picture the lawnmower running over a rock and it popping out the side and hitting me in the teeth and/or eye.
2. i hate regular potato chips (e.g. Lay’s Classic), but give me a bag of doritos (original nacho cheese flavor) and i will embarass myself.
3. when i was growing up, i had this longstanding battle with my mother in which i proclaimed to strongly hate ravioli. (i loved ravioli— still do.) I think it started because i was feeling contentious one day and made this false declaration and then remained unrelenting for the sake of pride. Thinking back, Battle Ravioli is a really lame war to wage (unless, of course, it’s on Iron Chef).
4. i typically find jeans less comfortable than other pants.
